Franz Joseph Land expedition

I was a passenger at Pristine Seas' expedition to Franz Josef Land organised by National Geographic and National Park "Russian Arctic". I was working as as an architect on Northbrook island at Cape Flora to design tourist infrastructure. Altogether I spent 6 weeks in the high Arctic, three of them on the lonely island which is famous for its abundant flora and for the wintering and meeting place of many polar explorers. In Northbrook there were 8 of us, besides me as an architect also 2 archeologist, 2 geologists and 3 polar bear guards.
